Installation Instructions

1. Remove belt guard.

2. Remove belt stop assembly from engine.

3. Remove belts from sheaves.

4. Remove sheaves from engine shaft. Remove

sheave and washers from jackshaft.

5. Install spacer #5 (84-004-4121) on jackshaft.

Install sheave #1 (01-260-2270) and bushing #8

(01-260-0380) on jackshaft. Secure to jackshaft so

there is 1/16" clearance between sheave and idler

arm.

6. Install sheave #2 (01-260-2250) on engine shaft

and align with sheave #1.

7. Install belt #3 (01-264-0960) on sheaves #1

and #2.

8. Reinstall sheave #4 and bushing on engine shaft

and align with blade drive sheave #6.

9. Reinstall belt #7 on sheaves #4 and #6.

10. Reinstall belt stop assembly on engine and

adjust all belt tensions for proper operation.

11. Reinstall belt guard.
