CAUTION
Before servicing or making adjustments to the
machine, stop engine and remove key from
the switch.
1. Remove clamps securing S-hose to side of air
cleaner and radiator shroud (Fig. 1). Remove and
discard hose but retain clamps.
2. Remove clamps securing intake hose to top of air
cleaner and engine (Fig. 1). Remove and discard hose
but retain clamps.

3. Loosen air cleaner mounting clamps and rotate air
cleaner so inlet port points to rear of machine (Fig. 1).
Make sure evacuator valve on air cleaner cup also
points to rear of machine.
4. Loosely mount new air intake hose to top of air
cleaner and engine with clamps previously removed
(Fig. 2). Route new hose over inlet hood and secure
with cable ties before securing.
Note: On Workman 3200 & 4200 units, make sure
there is at least 1 inch clearance between air intake
hose and governor pulley.

Note: On machines with a full bed installed, make sure
box spacer mounting bolt heads are positioned inward
to provide maximum clearance for air intake hose
(Fig. 3).

5. Tighten all hose and air cleaner mounting clamps.
6. Secure air intake elbow to inlet port of air cleaner
with clamp previously removed (Fig. 2).
7. Insert air inlet hood into air intake elbow (Fig. 2).
Note: Opening in radiator where hose was removed
may be plugged, if desired.
