Introduction

TheCaliforniaAirResourcesBoard(CARB),theEnvironmentalProtectionAgency(EPA),andBOSSProductsarepleasedtoexplaintheevaporative

emissioncontrolsystem’swarrantyonyour2022–2023modelyearequipment.InCalifornia,andotherstates,newequipmentthatusesmall/large

off-roadsparkignitionenginesmustbedesigned,built,andequippedtomeettheState’sstringentanti-smogstandards.BOSSProductsmustwarrantthe

evaporativeemissioncontrolsystemonyourequipmentfortheperiodlistedbelowprovidedtherehasbeennoabuse,neglect,orimpropermaintenance

ofyourequipmentleadingtothefailureoftheevaporativeemissioncontrolsystem.

Yourevaporativeemissioncontrolsystemmayincludepartssuchas:carburetors,fueltanks,fuellines(forliquidfuelandfuelvapors),fuelcaps,valves,

canisters,lters,clamps,connectors,andotherassociatedemission-relatedcomponents.

Manufacturer’sWarrantyCoverage:

Thisevaporativeemissioncontrolsystemiswarrantedfortwoyears.Ifanyevaporativeemission-relatedpartonyourequipmentisdefective,the

partwillberepairedorreplacedbyBOSSProducts.

Owner’sWarrantyResponsibilities:

Astheequipmentowner,youareresponsibleforperformanceoftherequiredmaintenancelistedinyourOperator'sManual.BOSSProductsrecommends

thatyouretainallreceiptscoveringmaintenanceonyourequipment,butBOSSProductscannotdenywarrantysolelyforthelackofreceipts.

Astheequipmentowner,youshouldbeawarethatBOSSProductsmaydenyyouwarrantycoverageifyourequipmentoraparthasfaileddueto

abuse,neglect,impropermaintenance,orunapprovedmodications.

YouareresponsibleforpresentingyourequipmenttoaBOSSProductsservicecenterassoonastheproblemexists.Thewarrantyrepairsshould

becompletedinareasonableamountoftime,nottoexceed30days.Ifyouhaveaquestionregardingyourwarrantycoverage,youshouldcontact

BOSSProductsat1-888-492-6841.

GeneralEvaporativeEmissionsWarrantyCoverage:

BOSSProductswarrantstotheultimatepurchaserandeachsubsequentpurchaserthattheequipmentis:

•Designed,built,andcertiedtoconformwithallapplicableemissionsregulations;and

•Identicalinallmaterialrespectstothepartsasdescribedintheapplicationforcertication;and

•Freefromdefectsinmaterialsandworkmanshipthatcouldcausethefailureofawarrantedpart

Thewarrantyperiodbeginsonthedatetheequipmentisdeliveredtoanultimatepurchaser.Thewarrantedperiodistwoyears.

Subjecttocertainconditionsandexclusionsasstatedbelow,thewarrantyonevaporativeemissions-relatedpartsisasfollows:

1.Anywarrantedpartthatisnotscheduledforreplacementasrequiredmaintenanceinthewritteninstructionssupplied,iswarranted

forthewarrantyperiodstatedabove.Ifthepartfailsduringtheperiodofwarrantycoverage,thepartwillberepairedorreplaced

byBOSSProducts.Anysuchpartrepairedorreplacedunderwarrantywillbewarrantedfortheremainderofthewarrantyperiod.

2.Anywarrantedpartthatisscheduledonlyforregularinspectioninthewritteninstructionssuppliediswarrantedforthe

warrantyperiodstatedabove.Anysuchpartrepairedorreplacedunderthewarrantywillnotreducetheperiodofwarranty

coverageandwillbewarrantedfortheremainderofthewarrantyperiod.

3.Anywarrantedpartthatisscheduledforreplacementasrequiredmaintenanceinthewritteninstructionssuppliedis

warrantedfortheperiodoftimepriortotherstscheduledreplacementdateforthatpart.Ifthepartfailsbeforetherst

scheduledreplacement,thepartmustberepairedorreplacedbyBOSSProducts.Anysuchpartrepairedorreplaced

underwarrantywillbewarrantedfortheremainderoftheperioduptotherstscheduledreplacementpointforthepart.

4.Repairorreplacementofanywarrantedpartunderthewarrantyprovisionshereinmustbeperformedatan

AuthorizedServiceDealeratnochargetotheowner.

5.WarrantyservicesorrepairswillbeprovidedatallServiceDealersauthorizedtoservicethesubjectequipment.

6.Theequipmentownerwillnotbechargedfordiagnosticlaborthatisdirectlyassociatedwithdiagnosisofadefective,

emission-relatedwarrantedpart,providedthatsuchdiagnosticworkisperformedatanAuthorizedServiceDealer.

7.BOSSProductsisliablefordamagestootherengineorequipmentcomponentsproximatelycausedbyafailureunderwarrantyofanywarrantedpart.

8.Throughouttheevaporativeemissioncontrolsystem’swarrantyperiodstatedabove,BOSSProductswillmaintainasupply

ofwarrantedpartssufcienttomeettheexpecteddemandforsuchparts.

9.Manufacturerapprovedreplacementpartsmaybeusedintheperformanceofanywarrantymaintenanceorrepairs

andmustbeprovidedwithoutchargetotheowner.SuchusewillnotreducethewarrantyobligationsofBOSSProducts.

10.Add-onormodiedpartsthatarenotapprovedbyBOSSProductsmaynotbeused.Theuseofanon-approved,add-on,ormodiedpartbythe

purchaserwillbegroundsfordisallowingawarrantyclaim.BOSSProductswillnotbeliabletowarrantfailuresofwarrantedpartscausedbytheuseof

non-approved,add-on,ormodiedparts.

WarrantedParts:

TherepairorreplacementofanywarrantedpartotherwiseeligibleforwarrantycoveragemaybeexcludedfromsuchcoverageifBOSSProducts

demonstratesthattheequipmenthasbeenabused,neglected,orimproperlymaintained,andthatsuchabuse,neglect,orimpropermaintenancewasthe

directcauseoftheneedforrepairorreplacementofthepart.Thatnotwithstanding,anyadjustmentofacomponentthathasafactoryinstalled,and

properlyoperating,adjustmentlimitingdeviceisstilleligibleforwarrantycoverage.Thefollowingemissionwarrantypartslistarecovered:

•FuelCap•ControlSolenoids*•Gaskets

•FuelLines(forliquidfuelandfuelvapors)•ElectronicControls*•Liquid/VaporSeparator

•Clamps•ControlCables*•CanisterMountingBrackets
