Themotioncontrolleversarespeedsensitivecontrols
ofindependentwheelmotors.Movingaleverforward
orbackwardturnsthewheelonthesamesideforward
orinreverse.Movingthecontrolleversoutwardfrom
thecenterpositionengagestheparkingbrakeandallows
theoperatortoexitthemachine(Figure5).
ParkingBrake
Theparkingbrakeisautomaticallysetwhenthemotion
controlleversareinthebrakeposition.Alwaysposition
themotioncontrolleversintothebrakepositionwhen
youstopthemachineorleaveitunattended(Figure5).
Height-of-CutLever
Theheightofcutleverallowstheoperatortolower
andraisethedeckfromtheseatedposition.Whenthe
leverismovedup,towardtheoperatorthedeckisraised
fromthegroundandwhenmoveddown,awayfromthe
operatoritisloweredtotheground.Onlyadjustthe
heightofcutwhilemachineisnotmoving(Figure5).
Recycle-On-DemandLever
Usetherecycle-on-demandlevertoswitchfrom
collectionmodetoRecycler
®
mode.Movethelever
forwarduntilitstopstoopenthedeckdoortoallow
clippingstotraveltothecollectionbags.Movethelever
rearwarduntilitlocksinpositiontoclosethedeckdoor
andengagetheRecycler
®
mode(Figure7).

Theignitionswitchhasthreepositions,Off,Runand
Start.ThekeywillturntoStartandmovebackto
Runuponrelease.TuringthekeytotheOffposition

whenleavingthemachinetopreventtheenginefrom
accidentallystarting(Figure6).
