Mode
Airisrequiredtocutandrecutgrassclippingsinthe
mowerhousing,sodonotsettheheight-of-cuttoolow
orcompletelysurroundthehousingbyuncutgrass.
Alwaystrytohaveonesideofthemowerdeckfree
fromuncutgrass;allowingairtobedrawnintothe
mowerdeck.Whenmakinganinitialcutthroughthe
centerofanuncutarea,operatethemachineslowerand
backupifthemowerstartstoclog.
Toensureoptimumperformance,cleantheunderside
ofthemowerhousingaftereachuse.Ifresidueis
allowedtobuildupinthemowerhousing,cutting
performancecandecrease.

Mowregularly.
Keepairowhighbyoverlappingcuttingpaths
Useanhigherheightofcutfortallergrass.
Usesharpblades.
Travelatslowerspeedswhenmowingtallergrass.
PositioningtheSeat
Theseatcanmoveforwardandbackward.Positionthe
seatwhereyouhavethebestcontrolofthemachine
andaremostcomfortable.
1.Raisetheseatandloosentheadjustmentknobs
enoughtomovetheseat(Figure20).
Important:Makesurethatthespacersstayin
placewhenlooseningtheknobstomovethe
seat.Lossofthespacerscanresultindamage
totheseat.
2.Movetheseattothedesiredpositionandtighten
theknobs.
