ASSEMBLY
8) SPILL
COLLAR
2) 50 OZ.
CANISTER
1. Make certain that the canister sits snugly on the Torpedo™ base
with the handle on the right-hand side.
2. Align the canister pour spout with the safety-lock lid
(see Exhibit 1).
3. Snap the lid into place by twisting the top to the LEFT. Note:
For safety, the Torpedo™ will not operate unless the lid is
locked into place. While operating, if the lid is dislodged or
twisted to the RIGHT, the motor will stop immediately
(see Exhibit 2).
4. Always maintain a cover over the beverage dispensing
area; either the stop cap for denser items or the beverage
dispenser for liquids. Attach by twisting the stop cap or
beverage dispenser into place. Make certain that the
beverage dispenser spout toggle is in the OFF position
until ready to dispense. (see Exhibit 3).
5. If desired, align mesh jucing screen along
grooves next to pour spout and slide into
place. Note: Only one screen may be used
at a time (see Exhibit 4).
6. Adding the vented top. The vented top allows you to easily
add liquid ingredients to the Torpedo™ while it is in operation.
Be certain the top fits snugly into the center of the safety-lock lid.
The vented top also allows steam to escape when blending hot
ingredients such as soup without dangerous splatter or heat
build up (see Exhibit 5).
7. Adding the spill collar. The spill collar allows you to easily add dry or loose
ingredients while the Torpedo™ is in operation. Remove the vented top and
place the spill collar into the hole in the center of the safety-lock lid. After adding
your ingredients, you may replace the vented top in the center of the spill collar.
