I have shut off the power to my computer by mistake.

To turn off your computer, click [Start] → [Turn Off Computer].
If the power is shut off during the turn-off process (while the Disk
LED is lit), the hard
disk may be damaged. Do the correct turn-off procedure.
If any abnormality is found in computer operations after aborting your computer by an
inappropriate procedure, run the check disk command to inspect the hard disk. If no error is
found by the check disk command, Windows starts. If any error is found, follow the on-
screen instructions to proceed.
