Choosing a location for your LCD TV
ToDisplayyour LCDTV on the included
Pedestal Stand:
Observethe following safety precautions:
1) Readand Followthe pedestalassemblyinstructions
includedwith the pedestal.
CAUTION:Beforebeginningpedestalassembly,
carefullylaythe frontofthe LCDPanelfacedown on a
flat, cushionedsurfacesuch asa quilt or blanket,
Leavethe bottomof the unit protrudingoverthe edge
of the surfaceand assemblethe pedestalas indicated
below.
Note: Extreme care should always be used
when attaching the pedestal stand to avoid
damage to the LCD panel
2) Placethe TV on a sturdy, levelsurfacethat cansupport
the weight of the TV.
3) Be sureto securethe TVto a wall, pillar, surface, or
other immovablestructure. (_- item 25, page4).

Bracket:
If you decideto wall mountyour LCDTV,alwaysusea UL
listedwall bracketappropriatefor the size and weightof
the LCDTV(6, page2):
1) CAUTION:Two peoplearerequired for installation.
2) Unplugand removeany cablesand/or other compo-
nent connectorsfromthe rear ofthe TV.
3) Removethe screws of the VESAMounting Pattern
show in the next page.
CAUTION:Donot usethe screws removedfrom the
backcover to attach the wall mount bracketto the TV.
4) Alwaysusethe screws suppliedor recommendedby
the wall mount manufacturer.
5) Followthe instructionsprovidedwith your wall bracket,
Beforeproceeding,makesurethe appropriate
bracket(s)areattached to the wall and the back of the
TVas describedinthe instructionsprovidedwith the
wall bracket,
6) After attachingthe appropriatebracket(s)to the wall
and the back of the TV,removethe pedestalstand
from the TVasdescribedon the following page.
