This input is designed to accept HDCP (High-Bandwidth Digital-Content Protection) program material in digital form from EIA/CEA-861-D-compliant _11consumer electronic devices (such as a set-top box or DVD player with HDMI or DVI output).
REGZA-LINK ® connection You can control the basic functions of connected audio/video devices using the TV's remote control if you connect a REGZA-LINK compatible audio receiver or playback device. Programmingchannels into the TV's channel memory 4 When you press _.] or _ on the remote control or TV control panel, your TV will stop only on the channels you progrannned into the TV's channel memory. Follow the steps below to program channels into the TV's channel memory. (A new set of Installation menu icons will appear, as shown below.) Open the Terrestrial menu, highlight Channel Programto bring up the Start, and press @ again to begin channel programming.
To manually channel: add digital subchannels on a physical Use the Channel Numbers and the Dash ((N)) on the remote control to enter the channel number (for example, 56-1). If the channel is found, the number will be added to the list and the box will be checked. If the channel is not found, a message will appear. To remove a channel from the channel memory: Highlight the checked box next to the channel number you want to remove, and then press @ to uncheck the box.

Previously tuned channels/inputs are "shifted" to the left, eventually moving offthe left side. Press _ to surf backward through the previously tuned channels/ inputs.

Adjustingthe audio quality You can adjust the audio quality by adjusting the bass, treble, and balance. Using the Locks menu The Locks menu includes the Enable Rating Blocking, Edit Rating Limits, Channels Block, Input Lock, Front (control) Panel Lock, and New PIN Code features. Blockingchannels Unlockingprogramstemporarily With the Channels Block feature, you can block specific channels. You wilt not be able to tune blocked channels unless If you try to tune the TV to a program that exceeds the rating limits you set, the TV will enter program lock mode and the following message will appear on-screen: you unlock them.
Usingthe GameTimer ® Usingthe controlpanel lock feature You can use the GameTimer to set a time limit for playing a video game (30-120 minutes). When the GameTimer expires, the TV enters Input Lock mode and locks out the input source for the video game device. You can lock the control panel to prevent your settings from being changed accidentally (by children, for example). When the control panel lock is On, none of the controls on the TV control panel will operate except POWER.
Using the PC settings feature Setting the PC Audio You can view an image from a PC on the TV screen. When a PC is connected to the TV's PC IN terminal, you can use the PC Settings feature to make adjustments to the image. If the edges of the picture are cut off, readjust the Horizontal Positionand Vertical Position.If the picture is affected by interference readjust the ClOCkPhase and Sampling Clock.
UsingRERZA-LJNR ® This is a new feature that uses CEC technology and allows you to control Toshiba REGZA-LINK compatible devices from the TV remote via HDMI connection (_' page 15). When the Enable REGZA-LINK in the REGZA-LINK setup menu (_' page 45) is set to 0n, the following REGZA-LINK functions will be enabled. Power Turns the select device on and off. Top Menu Accesses the top menu of a DVD. Menu Accesses the menu of a DVD. Contents Menu Accesses the contents list when you press @.
OtherRERZA-LJRR ® functions DisplayingTVstatus information When the EnableREGZA-LINRand each item in the REGZA-LINRSetup menu are set to On, the following functions will be enabled. TV Auto Input Switch If a connected HDMI device starts playing video or audio, the TV will automatically switch to the appropriate HDMI input.
