Input selection, AV connections
Settings for the INPUT and OUTPUT sockets so that the television recognises connected equipment. See page 5 and 6
for a clear view of the back connection recommendations and page 7 for the side connections.
Most media recorders and decoders send a signal through
the SCART lead to switch the television to the correct Input
socket. Alternatively press the external source selection
button to select the source from the menu displayed.
Input selection
Use the Input Selection if the television does not switch
over automatically.
From the SOURCE menu, press Down button to high-
light a source.

Available source options are; ATV, DTV, AV-1, AV-2, AV-
2S, YPbPr, AV-4, AV-4S, HDMI or PC RGB.
Pressing Right button will switch the TV to the selected
mode.
NOTE: You can mark desired source options by
pressing OK button. Therefore, when
button is pressed, only the marked source
options will be available.
OUTPUT signal selection for AV-2 (Scart 2)
This enables selection of the source to output from AV-2.
For example, to record transmissions in stereo from a ste-
reo decoder - connect a stereo decoder to AV-1 and stereo
media recorder to AV-2, then select AV-1 as the AV-2 Out.
The signal received through SCART 1 will output directly
through SCART 2.
NOTE: If the currently watched source is analogue
TV, a connected device displays analogue
TV source as well. If this source is set to
digital mode, connected device displays digi-
tal source. In order to avail this function, AV-
2 Output should be set to TV/DTV.
From the FEATURE menu, press the Down button to
select AV-2 Out.

Use the Left or Right button to change AV-2 Out option
to:
TV/DTV = The last television programme selection.
AV-1 = The picture from equipment connected to
SCART 1.
YPbPr Audio = Only the sound from equipment con-
nected to YPbPr (Component) sockets.
AV4 = The picture from equipment connected to the side
input sockets.
PC Audio = Only the sound from PC.
The Digital Coaxial RCA out always provides digital sound
output.
