Settingthe time zone
To set the time zone:
MENU
Press o and ()pen tile Prefer menu.
2 Highlight Time Zone.
3 Press i_ or _ to select Pacific, Alaska, Hawaii, Eastern,
Central and Mountain.
Pacific -->Alaska -->Hawaii -->Eastern -->Cent ral-->
Mountain--->Pacific
Off
Note: After you change the TimeZone setting, when you
INFO
press 0, you will see that the program duration has been
changed. Formore details on_o, see"To display TV
status information using INFO"section on this page.
DisplayingTVstatus information
To display TV status information using INFO:
NFO
Pless O on tile remote control.
The following additional information will display for oft air
digital channels (if applicable):
• Title
• Duration
• Detailed description
To close the Information screen:
EXIT
Press O on tile remote control.
Understandingthe auto poweroff
feature
Tile TV will automatically turn itself off ariel approximately
15 minutes if it is tuned to a vacant channel or a station that
completes its broadcast for tile day. This feature functions in
ANT mode only.
To display TV status information using RECALL:
Press RE_LLon tile relllOte control.
The following information will display (if applicable):
• Cunent input (Video 1, Video 2, etc.)
• Channel number (if in ANT mode)
• Channel label (if set)
• Digital signal strength indicator (bar graph in top right
corner of box)
• Stereo or SAP audio status
• Video resolution
• Aspect ratio of incoming video signal (4:3 or 16:9)
• V-Chip rating status
To close the RECALL screen:
Press EX,_on tile relllOte control.
Understandingthe last mode
memoryfeature
If the power is cut off while you are viewing the TV, the
Last Mode Memory feature automatically turns on the
TV when the power is resupplied.
Note: You should unplug the TV's power cord if it is possible
that you will be away from the TV for an extended period of
time after the power is restored.
