CONTROLS AND FEATURES
When Colour management is selected it allows the ‘Base
colour adjustment’ feature to become available.
a In the PICTURE menu press < to select Colour
management
.
b Press Y or y to select On or Off .
The Base colour adjustment feature allows the adjustment of
individual colours to suit personal preference. This can be useful
when using an external source.
a In the PICTURE menu press < to select Base colour
adjustment
, then press Q .
b Press > or < to select an option, then y to adjust
the settings.
c Press Y or y to select Hue or Saturation , then press
> or < to adjust the settings as required.
To return to the original factory settings select Reset
and press
Q .
When Active backlight control is activated it will
automatically optimise the backlighting levels for dark scenes.
a In the PICTURE menu press < to select Active
backlight control
.
b Press Y or y to select On or Off .
If there are lines or jagged edges in the film or programme
being viewed, selecting
Cinema mode can help correct this by
smoothing out the picture.
a In the PICTURE menu press < to select Cinema
mode
.
b Press Y or y to select On or Off .
NOTE: When a DVD with subtitles is being played this
mode may not work correctly.
