Using CableClear TM DNR [digital noise reduction}
This feature allows you to reduce visible interference in your TV
picture. This is useful when receiving a broadcast with a weak signal
or playing back a video cassette or disc damaged by repeated use.
To turn on CableClear '_ DNR:
1. Press MENU, and then press • or • until the PICTURE menu
appears.
2. Press • or • to highlight CableClear DNR (or DNR if you are
in a mode other than ANT1 or ANT2).
3. Press • or • to highlight AUTO.

Selecting the Scan Velocity Modulation (SVM)
The SVM feature enhances picture contrast ant} sharpness. This
feature has three modes: HIGH, LOW, and OFE
To select the SVM feature:
1. Press MENU, and then press • or • until the PICTURE menu
appears.
2. Press • or • to highlight "SVM."
3. Press • or• to highlight the mode you prefer (HIGH, LOW,
or OFF).
