Changing a hard drive or CD-ROM/DVD-ROM drive
There are two expansion bays on the front of the computer where
devices that require external access can be mounted. Your computer may
have a CD-ROM/DVD-ROM (Slim Type-) drive in one of these bays. The
3.5" floppy drive occupies the other.

Precautions
YWork on a flat, static-free surface. If youre not wearing an antistatic
wrist strap, touch the computers metal chassis to ground any static
charge you have built up before handling any electronic
components.
YKeep the device in its antistatic bag until you are ready to install it.
YAvoid touching circuit board components on the device.
YDont drop the device.
YDont place the device on the antistatic bag or slide it over any
surface.
