Cannot make
or receive calls
• Check the signal strength indicator. If the
display indicates a poor signal, adjust your
physical location to be clear of obstructions that
may block the signal.
• If you enter the PIN code incorrectly three times
in a row, the PIN lock will be set, preventing
calls being made because access to the SIM
card is blocked (page 116). Enter the PUK
code to cancel the PIN lock.
• If the indicator appears on the display, enter
your security code to cancel the phone lock.
Cannot use
SMS
•Check your subscription status. Contact your
service provider.
• Ensure that the service centre number is
correct. For details of the service centre
number, contact your service provider.
