Cannot make
or receive calls
Check the signal strength indicator. If the
display indicates a poor signal, adjust your
physical location to be clear of obstructions that
may block the signal.
If you enter the PIN code incorrectly three times
in a row, the PIN lock will be set, preventing
calls being made because access to the SIM
card is blocked (page 116). Enter the PUK
code to cancel the PIN lock.
If the indicator appears on the display, enter
your security code to cancel the phone lock.
Cannot use
SMS
•Check your subscription status. Contact your
service provider.
Ensure that the service centre number is
correct. For details of the service centre
number, contact your service provider.
