Multi-press mode
Your keypad has numbers 0 through 9, plus the * and # keys. Each
number key also represents three or four letters. In multi-press
mode, enter a letter by repeatedly pressing the key that represents
the letter you want until that letter is displayed.
To select another character from the same key that you have just
been using, you need to pause before starting to type again.
More tips on text entry
To switch between initial upper case, all upper case and all
lower case sub-modes, press and hold the *-key.
To delete a single character, press the Power/Cancel key
briefly. To delete all the characters in the message area, press
and hold the Power/Cancel key.
To enter a space in T9 mode or multi-press mode, press the
0 key.
EXAMPLE: To enter the letter c, press the 2 key three times
quickly.
TIP: When using multi-press mode, the first letter of a
sentence is automatically capitalised.
