Text input

Numeric mode

Using numeric mode, you press a key to enter the corresponding

number into a field. Typically the input mode changes to numeric

mode for the entry of telephone numbers.

To enter numbers in text

1. Press the *-key until the numeric mode indicator is displayed.

2. Enter numbers with the keypad.

3. Press the *-key again to change to another input mode if

required.
