8. W hen download is com pleted, t he receiver will
reboot autom atically. You can no w exit
HyperTerm inal.
9. After the rece iver is booted up, you will see a
message windo w inform ing you that th e r eceiver’s
database is em pty. Note that the password will
also be r eset to the defau lt “0000”. No w pr ess th e
“MENU” button and se lect your region of
residence.
10. On th e Main Me nu, s elect “ PROFILE” and then
“INFORMATION” to conf irm the c urrent s oftware is
indeed ch anged to t he n ew on e. You c an then
proceed to tune your receiver b y follo wing
“INSTALLAT ION” instr uctions on page 29.

receiver. It is rec omm ended to carry out the software upgrade s o that the rece iver is equipped to p erform better.
1. W hen a ne w version of sof tware f or Tos hiba H D-
C26H is found, an OSD appears pr ompting for a
software upgra de.
2. Press the “ENT ER” button to accept the sof tware
upgrade or the “ EXIT ” button to canc el.
3. If the s oftware upgrade has been ac cepted, the
system will be reb ooted. Upon startup,
downloading of the ne w sof tware wi ll tak e place.
Progress is s hown on the front pane l displa y w ith
an “OTA” and a running lin e.
4. The downloadin g pr ocess usuall y takes a shor t
while and when it h as completed, the system will
reboot aga in. Upon the sec ond startup, t he s ystem
has completed the upgrading process and the
database will b e empty as default. T hen proc eed
with the Installation proc ess. ( Refer to page 29)
