form ats “576i” (for HD MODE Switch being set to

only), “AUTO ”, “1080i”, “720p” and “576p” . In
“AUTO” m ode, the rec eiver switches the video outp ut
form at to the sam e as sent by the broa dcast er
automaticall y. Other wise, t he rec eiver will f ix its video
output at the f ormat you have selected.

ASPECT RATIO
Use the “◄” an d “►” butto ns to switch am ong the thre e
different aspect r atios “4:3 NORMAL” , “16:9
W IDESCREEN” and “4:3 L ETTERBOX ”. Refer to th e
table on page 46 for m ore inform ation.
