FUNCTIONS
TTX (Teletext)
1.
W hen I-PLATE indicat es the presence of Teletext, you c an press the “TT X” button on the rem ote c ontrol to
view T eletext on t he T V sc reen. If you are i n those regions that support Fastext, you ma y also use the 4
colored buttons f or Fastext.
2.
Use the “▲” or “▼” button to view the next or previous TT X page. Us e the num eric butt ons to i nput a T TX
page number to view the p age directl y.
3.
To exit f rom Teletext displa y, you have 3 choices: press the (1)“TTX button, or (2) EXIT” button, or ( 3)
“CH▲” or “CH▼” button. A m essage “Teletext/Clos ed Caption OFF” appears for 5 sec onds.
Notes:
1. If
appears on the T V screen when you press a but ton to activa te a function, t his m eans the
function is not permitted in TTX m ode.
2. To speed up Telet ext browsing, pages you have vis ited previous ly will be stored i nternall y in the rec eiver. If
you re-visit a p age, you m ay s ee old con tents be ing displa yed in itiall y but the page will be up dated as soon
as new inform ation is rece ived fr om the broadcas ter.
3. If you leave a f ixed text f or a long peri od of time, a p erm anent afterim age may rem ain on your screen.
CC (Closed Caption) (For Australia Only)
1.
Press the “CC” button on th e rem ote control to call up t he subtitle.
2.
If the curr ent program you preview supports the C losed Captio n, a mes sage CC ON appears on th e T V
screen for 5 seconds, and you will see th e subtitle appears on t he TV.
3.
Otherwise if the c urrent pr ogram you pre view doesn’t s upports the Close d Capti on, a m ess age “CC is not
available” appe ars on the T V screen f or 5 seconds .

To exit f rom Closed Ca ption displa y, you hav e 4 cho ices: press the (1) “CC” button, or ( 2)“TT X” button, or
(3) “EXIT button, or (4) “C H▲” or “CH▼” butt on. A mes sage “Teletext/C losed Caption OFF appears f or 5
seconds.
Note:
If
appears on the T V screen when you pres s a butt on to ac tivate a f unction, t his means the
function is not permitted in CC m ode
V.FORMAT (Video Format)
The “V.FORMAT” button o n the remote control is us ed to cha nge th e video format setting among 576i”, “AUTO”,
“1080i”, “720p”, a nd “576p”.
