Doing so may cause malfunction. 7When shipping the player, the original shipping carton and packing materials come in handy. For maximum protection, repack the unit as it was originally packed at the factory. 7Do not use volatile liquids, such as insect spray, near the player.
Introduction /PTICAL PICK UP LENS Do not use the unit when moisture condensation may occur. If you use the unit in such a situation, it may damage discs and internal parts. Connect the power cord of the unit to the wall outlet, turn on the unit, remove the disc, and leave it for two or three hours. After two or three hours, the unit will have warmed up and evaporated any moisture. Keep the unit connected to the wall outlet and moisture condensation will seldom occur.

2 Chapter Connections Connecting to a TV Step1 Check the type of video input on your TV. To view 480p, 576p, 720p or 1080i output, use the HDMI OUTPUT jack or the COMPONENT OUTPUT jacks to connect to a TV. You can listen to down-converted Dolby Digital Plus and Dolby TrueHD as well as Dolby Digital and DTS using a receiver with Dolby Digital and DTS decoding capabilities and an optical digital input.
