Audio Program (SAP) AuDioSELECT
Sound controls are factory preset but you can adjust them individually as follows:
The TV/DVD is equipped with a feature known as multi-channel TV sound or A/V/,/•
MTS. MTS broadcasts greatly enhance TV viewing by bringing you programs CANCEL
with high fidelity stereo sound.
MTS also provides an extra channel called the Second Audio Program or SAP MENU
which broadcasters can use to transmit a second language for bilingual transmis-
sion or for other purposes.
Press MENU and then press < or • to select

Press • or • to adjust the treble sound.
Press 4 or • to obtain an equal sound
evel from both speakers.

The dynamic presence and sound created of-
fers a thoroughly enjoyable listening experience.

Press • or • to select "ON" or"OFF'.
The Stable Sound feature limits the highest
volume level to prevent extreme changes in
volume when the signal source is changed.

After the desired setting is adjusted, press
MENU repeatedly until the menu screen is
cleared.

To return BASS/TREBLE/BALANCE control
adjustments to the factory preset levels
Press CANCEL while making sound adjustments.
• When the TV is turned on or a channel selection is
made, the "STEREO" will appear on the screen. This
means that Stereo broadcasting is available. You can
enjoy stereo sound from the left and right speakers.
o When mono broadcasting is received, no indication is
displayed.
,, If the broadcast signal is not strong enough or clear
stereo sound is not available, press AUDIO SELECT to
change to mono sound. The noise should be elimi-
nated. Press it again to return to the stereo sound.

When the TV is turned on or a channel selection is
made, "SAP" will appear on the screen. This means
that the Second Audio Program broadcasting is
available.
Press AUDIO SELECT to select the desired sound.
