With ongoing software developments requiring ever increasing amounts of RAM memory
to achieve maximum performance, it’s hardly surprising that more and more people are
considering additional memory for their existing PCs. However, the idea that all memory is
much the same is a potentially disastrous misconception – and today, more than ever,
Toshiba users need to be aware of the very significant dangers of compromising on quality
where memory upgrades are concerned.

Although there’s little doubt that adding
memory is a very cost-effective way of
enhancing PC performance, the latest
developments in memory technology are
demanding more stringent requirements
of manufacturers than ever before.
When you consider that according to the
Gartner Group the second most common
technical failure experienced by PC users
either directly or indirectly involves RAM
memory, the consequences of these short-
comings are too important to be ignored.
At best, faulty design and cost-cutting
compromises can lead to data corruption,
performance degradation and expensive
down time.
To ensure users can upgrade memory with
total confidence, Toshiba has invested
heavily in the resources needed for the
manufacture, testing and validation of its
modules. All of its modules are painstakingly
tested in the machines for which they are
intended.
By strictly adhering to the highest possible
standards, every Toshiba memory module
is 100% guaranteed to function properly
in every specific Toshiba model – and it’s
also worth remembering that the Toshiba
warranty will be invalidated if damage is
caused by the use of non-Toshiba memory.
