You can hear the ring tone from the built-in speaker when you receive a
call (even if you attach headphones).
For better audio quality, it is generally recommended that you adjust the
headphone (speaker) volume by tapping the at the top of the screen,
rather than the microphone volume. If your party hears his or her own
voice because of acoustic echo from your speaker to microphone, it is
recommended that you lower your speaker volume. When you use the
built-in microphone, a feature within TOSHIBA IP Phone automatically
reduces the howling (feedback) and acoustic echo that commonly accom-
panies microphone and speaker volume problems.
It is recommended that you use headphones with a micro-
phone when you talk.
