XT9
You have access to XT9 in all input methods.
It offers faster, easier text input with next word
prediction list and spelling correction function.
To show the XT9 input keyboard, tap the selector
arrow, and tap X
T9. The position of the keys on the
keyboard will be inaccordance with the language
that you are using on your Toshiba phone.
To change the input language, do one of the
following:
Tap the currently selected language on the XT9
keyboard and tap the required language in the
list.
Tap the left XT9 icon and then tap 2
. Language
to display the list of language. Tap the required
language in the list.
To disable the next word prediction function, tap the
left XT9 icon and then tap 3
. Prediction Off.
To hide the XT9 keyboard, tap the XT9 icon.
Drawing and writing on the
screen
With your Toshiba phone, you can draw directly on
the screen, write on the screen, and save notes in
your own handwriting. To do this, you must first set
the input mode in Notes to Writing. If you prefer to
use handwriting or frequently add drawings to your
notes, you may find it helpful to set Writing as the
default input mode. If you prefer typed text, set
Typing as the default input mode.
To set the input mode for Notes:
1. Tap Start > P
rograms > Notes.
2. From the list of notes, tap Menu > O
ptions...
3. From the Default mode: list, select one of the
following:
- Writing - if you want to draw or enter
handwritten text in a note.
- Typing - if you want to create a typed note.
4. Tap ok.
NOTE: XT9 is available when text entry is
possible.

cursor is in a text entry field.
