application, highlight a contact. You may press the left and right navigation keys to
change the number that will be called. The letter on the right of the contact will indicate
the default number being dialed.
Making a call from Call History
Call History displays calls you have made, received, and missed recently.
1. On the Home screen, click Start > Call History .
2. Select the name or phone number to call.
3. Press TALK.

1. On the Home screen, press TALK.
2. Select the name or phone number to call.
3. Press TALK.
Making an emergency call
• Enter the emergency phone number for your location and press TALK.
Note: You can make calls to emergency service numbers under any circumstances, even
if you have enabled the SIM PIN and/or locked the phone
.
Dialing the last number called
• On the Home screen, press TALK twice.
Creating a speed dial
A speed dial is a short cut using one or more digits of your numeric keypad to call a
frequently used phone number by pressing that number on the keypad. You can create a
speed dial for a phone number, e-mail address or Web page address that is stored in
Contacts.
1. On the Home screen, click Start > Contacts.
2. Click the contact for whom to create a speed dial.
3. Select the phone number, e-mail address, or Web page address for which to create a
speed dial.
4. Click Menu > Add to Speed Dial.
5. In Keypad assignment, select the speed dial number to use by scrolling thru the
desired speed dial.
6. Click Done.
Note: The digit 0 is reserved to bring up the ‘+’ symbol in international dial strings (the
equivalent of dialing ‘00’ in many countries) when you press and hold ‘0’. The digit 1 is
reserved for calling your voice mailbox as a speed dial option. The Voicemail Speed Dial
