choosing Menu > Conference.
If you wish to have a private conversation with one of the callers, you may split the
conference call back up into its individual users. With the conference running choose
Menu > Private. Then select the caller with whom you wish to have the private
conversation.
Note: The conference feature is dependent on your Network Provider supporting it.
Please check to ensure you can use this function
To put a call on speakerphone
Your phone may also be used in Speakerphone mode which means that the caller’s voice
will be played back over the loudspeaker instead of the earpiece.
You must be in a call to enable the speakerphone. To enable, press Menu >
Speakerphone On or press and hold the green Call key for 2 seconds.
To switch off Speakerphone, select Menu > Speakerphone Off or press and hold the
green Call key for 2 seconds.
Note: Your next call will not be in Speakerphone mode automatically, even if you left the
function switched on in the previous call.
3.4 Special Dialing requirements
Insert a manual pause in a dialing sequence
Calls to certain networks may require a pause in between the dialed digits. To do this,
1. On the Home screen, click Start > Contacts.
2. Click the contact in whose phone number you want to insert a pause.
3. Select the phone number and click Menu > Edit.
4. Place the cursor where you want to insert the pause.
5. Click Menu > Insert Wait. The letter w appears where the manual pause will occur in
the dialing sequence.
6. Click Done.
Note: To resume dialing after reaching a manual pause, press TALK
Insert a three-second pause in a dialing sequence
1. On the Home screen, click Start > Contacts.
2. Click the contact in whose phone number you want to insert a pause.
3. Select the phone number and click Menu > Edit.
4. Place the cursor where you want to insert the pause.
5. Click Menu > Insert Pause. The letter p appears where the three- second pause will
occur in the dialing sequence.
6. Click Done.
