4.6 Wireless LAN Card
Removing the Wireless LAN Card
NOTE: This securing touch pad cover screw type depends on W-LAN cards
- If IEEE802.11 a&b(combo) card is installed, a torx screw is secured.
- If IEEE802.11 a&b(combo) card is not installed, a normal screw is secured.
- If another module is instaledl, M2x4 black LHSTIX screw is secured.
Remove the wireless LAN card according to the following procedures and Figures 4-18 and
4-19.
1. Remove one M2x4 black screw.
2. Remove the wireless LAN card cover.

3. Remove the glass tape.
CAUTION: Do not touch the connectors on the wireless LAN card and in the computer
with bare hands. Wireless LAN cards can fail if they are contaminated with sweat, natural
oils, etc. from your hands.
4. Disconnect the two antenna cables with the tweezers.
5. Spread out both the left and right stoppers for fixing the wireless LAN card until the
card can be raised.
