Installing the System Board
CAUTION:
1. When installing the system board, be sure to seat the board in the correct position.
Misseated system boards can cause device damage when the computer is reassembled.
2. Route the cable for DC jack between the guide ribs on the base body. The cooling module
can not be installed without correct routing.
Install the system board according to the following procedures and Figures 4-39 and 4-40.
1. Place the system board in the correct position and fix it with the four M2.5x4 black
flat-head screws.
2. Connect the cable for DC jack to the correct area and CN11.
3. Place the HDD case in the correct position and fix it with the M2.5x6 black flat-head
screw.
4. Connect the SUMI-cards to CN1002 and CN10 on the system board.
5. Place the selectable bay cover in the correct position and fixed it with the three M2.5x6
black flat-head screws.
6. Fasten the three M2.5x4 screws and fix the system board and I/O board to the base
cover.
