When installing the terminal, be sure to allow a 30mm or more clearance on the left and right side of the terminal so as not to block the ventilating slits. 4.
EO1-12026 5. ADJUSTMENT 5.1 TILT ANGLE ADJUSTMENT 5. ADJUSTMENT Tilt angle and brightness of the operator’s display, and speaker volume can be adjusted. CAUTION: Do not adjust the display angle by holding the LCD panel. Doing so may damage the unit. Be sure to hold the LCD frame. 5.1 TILT ANGLE ADJUSTMENT The tilt angle of the operator’s display can be adjusted freely in a range of 0° to 90°.

CAUTION: When handling a floppy disk, care should be taken as follows: • Do not place the floppy disk close to any magnetic product. • Do not use a damaged floppy disk. • Do not bend the floppy disk. • Keep the floppy disk away from water.

When the floppy disk is correctly inserted, the eject button pops out. 6.2.2 Ejecting the Floppy Disk CAUTION: Do not press the eject button while the active LED is lit. Doing so may destroy the data in the floppy disk.

MAGNETIC CARD READER (OPTION) The MCRST-60-3/5-QM optional magnetic card reader can be installed on the right side of the ST-60. These card readers read track 1 and 2 (MCRST-60-3-QM) or track 1, 2 and 3 (MCRST-60-5-QM) magnetic cards which comply with ISO1. 7.1 HOW TO READ MAGNETIC CARD Insert the magnetic card into the upper portion of the magnetic card reader slot and move the card downward slowly.

Do not pour water directly on or wipe the operator’s display with a soaked cloth, as this may cause fire, electric shock, or machine failure. CAUTION: 1. Never use an organic solvent like thinners or benzene for cleaning. Using such solvents may discolor the covers. 2. Do not use any sharp object to clean the operator’s display.
