In addition to the main picture, another TV program or video source being received through the
VIDEO input jacks can be displayed simultaneously as a small picture.
When using the PIP, the TV can display two pictures at once. However, to watch two different
pictures, one picture must be received from an antenna and the other must be from an external
VIDEO source. See the next page.
Note:
Signal source input through the COLOR
STREAM terminals cannot be displayed
as a small picture,
Also, when the main picture source is in
"COLOR STREAM", PIP is not available.

Press POWER to turn on the TV and
select the desired program.

Press PIP once to display a small picture.
The 1/9 size window picture appears. The
main picture and small picture are the
same.
If you press PIPagain, the 1/16 size
picture appears.
To turn off the small picture, press PIP
- Twice, if you are watching the 1/9 size window picture.
- Once, if you are watching the 1/16 size window picture.
CAUTION:
Avoid displaying stationary images on your TV screen for an extended
period of time. Stationary patterns generated by the PIP display,
computer displays, videogames, stock market reports etc. can become
permanently ingrained on the picture tube. This damage is not protected
by your warranty as it is the result of misuse./f you use your TOSHIBA
Television to display still images, it is always advisable to reduce the
brightness and contrast settings. Never leave a PIP display, computer
display or videogame unattended.
