Locking Channels
• With this function, you can lock out specific channels by entering your own 4-digit code.
The "IV will not be able to tune to those channels for the next 24 hours, unless you
enter the code.
This "IV has 8 memory spaces total -- 4 for TV mode and 4 for CABLE mode.

Note:
If a different code number is used to lock
out a channel, the last one has priority
over the preceding ones.
Press MENU, then press • or • until
the SET UP menu appears.
Press • (or •) until "CH LOCK" is
highlighted.

Press • or • to display the CH LOCK
menu.
"SET/CLEAR" will be highlighted,
Press • or • to select "Set."
Press • until "PASSWORD" is
highlighted.

Press the Number buttons (0-9) to enter
a 4-digit code. The numbers you enter
will replace the dashes in the display.
Pick • number that is easy to remember,
Example: To enter "1234".
Press 1, 2, 3, and 4 in order.

Press • until "CH INPUT" is
highlighted, then press the Number
buttons (0°9, 100) to enter the channel
