if you connect a VCR with an S-video jack to the "S-VIDEO" jack on the back of the TV, you must also connect the
audio cables to the "VIDEO 1 IN" AUDIO jacks. The S-video cable supplies video signals only.

Notes on the VIDEO 2 IN jacks
The VIDEO 2 IN jacks can also be used for connecting a
second piece of video equipment with S-video out.
To v)ew s)gnals from equ(pment connected to the VtDEO
2 IN jacks, select "VIDEO 2".
Notes:
When the S-video cable is connected to the S-VIDEO
IN jack, the video cable (phono-type) should not be
connected.
The S-VIDEO jack accepts SEPARATED Luminance/
Chrominaoce {Y/C) signals conforming tothe NTSC
standard.
Operate your VCR normally.
