Call Waiting Service
When you receive a call during a call, you can place the current call on hold and answer
the incoming call. If the incoming call is from a caller whose phone number is in the
Contacts list (page 47), the caller’s name and phone number are displayed.
Starting the Call Waiting Service
1. In standby mode, press . The main menu appears.
2. Settings Call Settings Call Waiting
3. Select Activate and press (Request).
After a network connection is established, the settings complete screen appears.
Using the Call Waiting Service
1. The call waiting tone is heard during a call.
2. Press (Options).
3. Select Answer and press (Select).
The original caller is placed on hold and a connection is established with the second
caller. Both names appear on the display.
4. Press to switch between callers.
Tip
To confirm the status of the setting,
select Status after Step 2.

You can also place the original caller
on hold and answer the call from the
second caller if you press in
Step 2.
