ONE-TOUCH TIMER RECORDING (OTR)

Press ON/STANDBY to turn on the unit.
Then press TV/VCR to select TV/VCR mode.
The One-touch Timer Recording
feature provides a simple and
convenient way to make a timed
recording.
Load a video cassette with the
erase prevention tab intact.

Press SP/LP to select the desired tape speed (SP or LP).
SP or LP will appear on the screen.

Press Direct Channel Selec-
tion or CH/PAGE
or to
select the channel to be
recorded (Example: Channel 2).

NOTES:
• To cancel OTR, press (STOP) .
• The unit channel can be changed
during recording.

Example:
One-touch Timer Recording for 30 minutes.
Press two REC simultane-
ously to begin recording. Press
the buttons again to stop
recording after 30 minutes. Each
additional press of two
REC
will increase recording time as
shown below, up to a maximum
of 5 hours. “OTR” will appear on
the screen.
Press REC to increase the time needed for recording (See
the chart below).

When the tape speed LP is selected, the recording time can
be set up to 10 hours.
