stop mode. The following
on-screen display appears.
Press or to select
“Language”, then press or
ENTER.

desired language (e.g.
English), then press
ENTER.
English:
The selected language is the first-priority Menu language.
Other:
Other languages can be selected (See the Language code
list on page 55).

Press MENU/SETUP or RETURN to remove the Menu
screen.

SETTING MENU LANGUAGE
You can select the language of the disc
menu messages of DVDs.
NOTES:
• If the selected soundtrack language is not
recorded on the disc, the original language
will be heard.
• If the selected subtitle language is not re-
corded on the disc, the first-priority lan-
guage is selected.
