product data Application The substrate must be clean and free of loose particles, oils or any substance that would interfere with bond. A smooth cementitous substrate (such as T-Wall Soft Coat Base coat or Total Wall Fibered Stucco) is recommended. For interior use, any smooth substrate (such as primed drywall) will do. A smooth, even substrate will provide better coverage, uniform texture, and a better result than a rough substrate. Glossy surfaces need to be roughened.
