Installation 1 Before You Start Prior to installing inspect the bathtub for damages. Place the bathtub back into the packaging or cover with a drop cloth to prevent damage during the rest of the construction. TOTO® Cast Iron Bathtubs are designed for a variety of installations depending on the model selected. Follow only the installation instructions for your particular model/installation. Provide properly dimensioned framing. Adequately level the sub-floor for proper support of the bathtub.

Installation (continued) 5 Install Bathtub For future maintenance provide proper access to the plumbing areas. ! WARNING: Do not lift or move the bathtub without assistance. A cast iron bathtub is extremely heavy and may cause personal injury. ! WARNING: Do not support the bathtub by the rim. Provide adequate support under the bathtub feet. • With help, carefully place the bathtub into position. • The bathtub must be resting on all the feet. Level the bathtub by using metal shims where necessary.

Installation (continued) 8 Completing the Finished Wall After connecting the drain to the trap add the finished wall. Install tile or any finished wall material to provide a minimum gap of 2 mm (1/16”) for contraction and expansion. Seal with silicone. Install the faucet trim according to the manufacturer’s instructions.

Installation 1 Avant De Commencer Avant l’installation, inspectez la baignoire pour déceler les dommages. Replacez la baignoire dans l’emballage ou recouvrez-la avec une toile de protection pour empêcher des dommages pendant le reste de la construction. ATTENTION: Ne soulevez pas ou ne déplacez pas la baignoire sans aide. Une baignoire en fonte est extrêmement lourde et peut causer des blessures corporelles. ! ATTENTION: Ne soutenez pas la baignoire par le bord. Fournissez un soutien adéquat sous les pieds de la baignoire. • Avec de l’aide, placez soigneusement la baignoire en place.

Installation (suite) 8 Exécution du mur de finition Après avoir branché le drain au siphon ajoutez le mur de finition. Installez les carreaux ou tout matériel de finition de mur pour fournir un espace minimum de 2 millimètres (1/16 ») pour la contraction et l'expansion. Joint avec du silicone. Installez la garniture du robinet selon les instructions du fabricant.
