Speedadjust:
The blender has an analogue speed dial,
working from left to right. Due to the slow start
motor, the blender will begin slowly and speed
up to the selected speed
Pulse:
The pulse switch must be held down for use.
When the pulse switch is released the blender
will automatically stop pulsing. If you are
blending on a low speed, pressing the pulse
switch down will speed up the blender.
ResetButton:
There is a red reset button situated on the
underside of the base. If the safety cut out is
activated due to overloading or overheating
press the reset button.
Blendinghotliquids:
When blending hot liquids do not ll the blender
jug beyond the 1 litre level.
Completely remove the centre portion of the
two-piece container lid before starting the
blender. This allows the rapidly heated air from
the blender to vent whilst it’s running.
Hot liquids may push the lid o the jar during
blending.
To prevent this and any possible burns, place
one hand on top of the lid to hold it down, with
the protection of an oven mitt or thick towel.
Keep any exposed skin away from the lid.
Begin blending any hot liquids at the lowest
speed.
Soups:
The speed that the blades travel warms the
liquid allowing you to create tasty soups using
your blender. Pause between pulsing and
blending to see when your soup has reached
your desired temperature and consistency.
Tips:
When you are using many ingredients, always
ensure the liquid ingredients go into the jug rst,
followed by the solids.
Make sure all ingredients are cut into even sized
pieces for good consistency.
When blending liquids, do not ll the blender
past the 1 litre mark.
