Sewing
8. Smocking
Is not available for 16/18 stitch model. (refer to P.20 [Application of each stitch pattern])
To make the gathering:
Set the pattern selection dial to "8".
Loosen the tension of the upper thread and sew.
After sewing, hold the ends of the lower thread
as shown in the diagram, and pull up the fabric
in the direction of the arrow to make the gathering.
After making the gathering, sew the smocking
between 2 rows of gathering.
After sewing the smocking, pull out the thread
you used to make the gathering.
