4 Make sure that the bobbin case is fully installed in the race.

• If the bobbin case is unstable when the handwheel is turned towards yourself two or three times, or
if it has been incorrectly installed as described above on the right, repeat the procedure starting with
step
1.
5 Install the needle plate with mark c on
the bobbin case positioned to the left of
part e on the needle plate (as shown in
the illustration at the right).

• The entire bobbin case fits into the hook so that
the edge of the hook is visible.
• Part a on the bobbin case is to the left of part b on
the sewing machine.
• The right side of the bobbin case covers the edge
of the hook and the bobbin case is tilted.
• Part a on the bobbin case is to the right of part b on
the sewing machine.
