■ STEP 4 (Practicing sewing characters)

Let’s draw letters with zigzag stitches.

1 Start sewing from the center, enlarging the

circle, then sewing back to the center again.

2 While lightly stepping on the foot controller,

slowly move the fabric to follow the outline.

3 Press the foot controller further to increase

the stitch width.

4 Gradually release the foot controller.

5 While lightly stepping on the foot controller,

move the fabric horizontally.
