Materials

Wiring outlet box and box connectors must be of type required by the local code. The minimum

wire would be 3-conductor (2 wire with ground) of the following size:

NOTE: Place the parts from the loose parts bags in a small container to keep them from being lost.

Energy Efficient Use of Ceiling Fans Ceiling fan performance and energy savings rely heavily on the proper installation and use of the ceiling fan. Here are a few tips to ensure efficient product performance. How to Hang Your Ceiling Fan Loosen the 4 screws from the "L-shaped" holes on each side of the canopy. With Outlet Box: Fix the bracket onto the outlet box with screws from the outlet box, fix the cross bar of the bracket onto to the ceiling with 4 wood screws (optional). Without Outlet Box: Fix the cross bar onto the solid wood structure with 4 wood screws.

Hang the fixture onto the bracket with "S" hook provided. Connect wires from the fixture to the wires from outlet box with wire nuts, ground wire (green, green/yellow or bare copper) to ground wire, neutral wire (white or blue) to the neutral wire, hot wire (black or brown) to the hot wire. Wrap the connection with electrical tape. Take away the S Hook. 1.Fix the bracket screws onto the bracket but not tighten them. 2.
