Note:
1. The WPS LED on the Range Extender will light green for five minutes if the device has been
successfully added to the network.
2. The WPS function cannot be configured if the Wireless function of the Range Extender is
disabled. Please make sure the Wireless function is enabled before configuring the WPS.
4.4 Network
The Network option allows you to customize your local network manually by changing the default
settings of the Range Extender.
Selecting Network will enable you to configure the IP parameters of Network on this page.

¾ MAC Address - The physical address of the LAN ports, as seen from the LAN. The value can
not be changed.
¾ Type - Several IP types are supported, including: (1) Static IP; (2)Smart IP(DHCP), and they
are explained below.
z Static IP - In this type, you can configure IP Address/Gateway manually.
z Smart IP(DHCP) - In this type, if your Range Extender have connected to a router, your
client will dynamically get an IP Address/Gateway from the Router, otherwise the client
will get a IP Address/Gateway in the same network as you set below. And this type is
recommended.
¾ IP Address - Enter the IP address of your Range Extender in dotted-decimal notation (factory
default setting is 192.168.0.254).
