Turn off your notebook PC and disconnect the power. 2. Remove your notebook PC case and locate the available Mini PCI slot on the motherboard. Check with your computer manufacturer for instructions if needed. 3. Slide the Adapter into the Mini PCI slot. Make sure that all of its pins are touching the slot's contacts.

This chapter describes how to configure your TP-LINK Wireless Adapter for wireless connectivity on your Wireless Local Area Network (WLAN) and use the data security encryption features. After Installing the Adapter, the Adapter’s tray icon will appear in your system tray.

The adapter will detect the access point if any messages are waiting periodically. • Normal - Normal uses maximum when retrieving a large number of packets, then switches back to power save mode after retrieving the packets.
