Modem RouterPower adapter
Connect to the power socket
Connect to the internet
Turn o the modem, and remove
the backup battery if it has one.
Turn on the modem and then wait
about 2 minutes for it to restart.

Log In
2. Launch a web browser, and enter http://tplinkwifi.net or
http://192.168.0.1 in the address bar. Use admin for both username
and password to log in.
Note: If the login window does not appear, please refer to FAQ > Q1.
3. Run the Quick Setup, select Wireless Router and follow the
step-by-step instructions to set up the internet connection.
1. Connect your computer to the router (Wired or Wireless)

Turn o the Wi-Fi on your computer and connect it to the router
via an Ethernet cable.

the router’s Wi-Fi using
the SSID (network name)
and Wireless Password

the bottom of the router.

If your internet connection is through an Ethernet
cable directly from the wall instead of through a DSL /
Cable / Satellite modem, connect the Ethernet cable
to the router’s Internet port, then follow step 4 and 5
to complete the hardware connection.

Note: If the 2.4GHz LED and 5GHz LED
are o, press and hold the WPS/Wi-Fi button
on the rear panel for about 5 seconds, then
release the button. Both LEDs will turn on.
Verify that the following LEDs stay solid on to conrm
the hardware is connected correctly.

Connect the power adapter to
the router and turn on the router.

Connect the modem to the router’s
Internet port via an Ethernet cable.
