1. Tap Administrator Password
on the menu screen.
2. Enter the old password. Enter the new password and enter again to confirm.
3. Tap Save.
Note:
1. If you disable this function, your touchscreen will be under no protection and anyone can change the settings
of your extender through the touchscreen, but logging in through web-based management page still requires
the password.
2. If you change the administrator password on the screen, logging into the web-based management page also
requires the new password.

Tap About on the menu screen, and you can see the product model, hardware
version, and firmware version of your extender.
3. 12. Firmware Upgrade
TP-LINK is dedicated to improving and richening the product features, giving you a
better network experience. We will release the latest firmware at TP-LINK official
website, you can download the latest firmware file from our website and upgrade the
firmware to the latest version.
1. On your computer, download the latest firmware file from our website
http://tp-link.com/en/support
2. Launch a web-browser on your computer, type http://tplinkrepeater.net in the
address bar, and enter the username and password you have set before, then click
Login.
3. Go to Settings > System Tools > Firmware Upgrade.
