WARNING
• RISK OF EXPLOSION: This equipment has internal arcing
or sparking parts that should not be exposed to flammable
vapors. It should be located in an area providing at least
four air changes per hour, or should be located at least
18 inches above the floor.
• Do not touch the glass UV filter while in use.
• Use for a maximum of 5 minutes and allow a 10-minute
cooling period before restarting. A series of short
inspection intervals are recommended.
• Do not secure the momentary ON/OFF switch in the ON
position. This will void the lamp’s warranty.
• Always disconnect the lamp from the power source
and allow it to cool to the touch before storing or
disassembling.
OPERATION
1. Turn off the engine.
2. Add fluorescent dye to the system. For best results, use
OEM-approved Tracerline
®
Fluoro-Lite

dyes.
3. Run the engine and/or system for 5 to 10 minutes to circulate
the dye. Turn off the engine.
4. Connect the battery clips to any 12-volt vehicle battery or
regulated 12 VDC, 5 amp power source.
5. Do not look directly into the UV light. You must wear the
TP-9939 UV-absorbing clear glasses supplied with the
lamp to protect your eyes.
6. Scan the system with the lamp. Leaks will show with a bright
fluorescent glow. The leaks will show best under low light
conditions.
7. After the leaks are repaired, clean off the dye residue with
GLO-AWAY™ dye cleaner and reinspect with the lamp.

AVERTISSEMENT
• RISQUE D’EXPLOSION.
• L'interrupteur temporaire MARCHE/ARRÊT (ON/OFF) ne
