Operating Instructions 1. Remove the battery access cover and install the 9-volt battery. An indicator on the display will turn on when the battery needs to be replaced. 2. Connect a dedicated or new charging hose to the PRO-Vac’s fitting. a. A previously used hose may contain oil that could affect the sensor performance. b. Normal refrigeration hoses do outgas (leak) which may make it difficult to measure below 250 microns. We suggest using a metal braided hose for better accuracy. c.

Vacuum Units Selection The PRO-Vac can display vacuum in units of microns, mbar, or Pascal. To change units, press and hold the power button for 3 seconds during power-up and the indicator for the active unit flashes. Briefly press the power button to select the desired units. Press and hold the power button for 1 second to save the setting.

Insert new filter with a thicker portion of the O-ring facing away from the gauge body, as shown.
