IMPORTANT INSTALLATION TIP
FOR ALLURE TILE:
allure Tile is installed the same way as described
above. However, you can install two ways. One is
the traditional lining up of the grout lines or you
can install in a brick pattern where the grout lines
line up in the middle of each tile.
Special Note: allure Tile has two sets of grout lines
(inner & outer). When installing the tile in a
matching grout line pattern, you must pay special
attention to the “outer" grout lines at the end of the
tile planks. One is thinner than the other. It is highly
recommended you match a thin grout line to a
thicker grout line. It helps in maintaining the grout
line to grout line look. It takes more time to install
the tiles this way and will require installing from
several different cartons at one time.
The alternative method to installing the tiles is in the
brick pattern. This is faster and easier to install this
way and also gives a beautiful design to the floor.
Be sure to ask the customer which way they prefer
to have the tiles installed.
ALLURE HIDDEN TRANSITION STRIPS
(Available in HD USA stores only)
allure Hidden Transition Strips allow you to switch
directions from a N-S room install to an E-W room
install by attaching the transition strip (which is 36"
long by 1" wide) to the "over-edge" of the transi-
tional plank. This creates an "under-edge" strip that
will make a clean transition from one room to
another through a door way, and allows you to
lay the planks or tiles in the same direction.

La losa allure se instala del modo descrito
anteriormente. Sin embargo, puedes instalarla
de dos maneras. Una es la alineación tradicional

diseño tipo ladrillo donde las líneas de lechada
se alinean en el medio de cada losa.
Nota Especial: La losa al
lure tiene dos juegos de
líneas de lechada (interior y exterior). Cuando
instales la losa en un diseño de combinación de
líneas de lechada, debes poner mucha atención
a las líneas de lechada «exteriores» en el extremo
de las losas. Una es más fina que la otra. Se
recomienda ampliamente que combines una línea
de lechada fina con una más gruesa. Esto ayuda
a mantener la continuidad de la línea de lechada.
Toma más tiempo instalar las losas de esta
manera, y requerirá instalarlas de varias cajas
diferentes al mismo tiempo.
El método alternativo es instalar las losas siguiendo
un diseño tipo ladrillo. Instalarlas de esta manera
es más rápido y más fácil, y también crea un
hermoso diseño para el piso. Asegúrate de
preguntarle al cliente de qué forma prefiere
que se instalen las losas.
TIRAS DE TRANSICIÓN
OCULTAS ALLURE
(Disponibles sólo en las tiendas de Home Depot en los EE.UU.)
Las Tiras de Transición Ocultas allure permiten
cambiar la dirección de instalación de N-S a una
instalación de E-O al instalar la tira de transición de
91,44 cm de largo por 2,54 cm de ancho en el
«borde superior» de la tabla de transición para crear
una tira de «borde inferior». Esta se usa para la
transición de una habitación a la otra a través de
una puerta o para poner las tablas o losas en la
misma dirección.
